A land above our heads and beneath our feet
In the place where light and dark meet
something tainted yet still so pure
_A place familiar though you never were

Somewhere in a small town
behind a wall of trees,
Light still runs across the fields
among the dancing leaves.
A Hundred winter solstices
With the apprentice of the witch,
The time had come to wake his master
The ancient enchantress

Behind the frosted window
the witch stood a porcelain doll
Lips red as blood on snow,
As her clock begins to toll

_Wake up, Witch, and heed this call
Embrace this life of untold powers
Unlock the secrets of the dead
Upon this witching hour

_There are those who love dancing,
Blissfully tethered to this earth
But others prefer to fly
Marked as wicked from their birth

Relieve your mortal coil
Command the wind upon your back
and the beasts upon the soil
